Oct 5 and Nov 2 6:30pm A shared potluck meal, followed by worship at Goshen Meeting, 814 N. Chester Rd, West Chester. Bring a dish to share. We welcome all in the Quarter and beyond. Bring a friend, too and enjoy reconnecting or meeting local Quakers! This is a monthly event on first Fridays.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS
Sept 30 6pm Twilight Meditation at Hildacy Farms (Natural Lands Trust). Meet at Newtown Square Friends Meeting, 120 North Newtown Road, Newtown Square, PA.
Oct 7 1pm Threshing session at Westtown Meeting, 215 Friends Meeting Lane, West Chester, PA to hear about and discuss the proposed care relationship between Delaware Valley Friends School and Concord Quarter . This will be an agenda item at October 28 Quarterly Meeting. Bring a brown bag lunch at 12:30pm if you wish. Proposed care relationship and fact sheet attached.
Oct 10 1- 3pm Concord Quarter Working Group on Aging Concerns, Anna T Jeanes Building Social Room at The Hickman, corner of Marshall and Walnut, West Chester. All are welcome to join this group which is planning programs on aging concerns in the Quarter. For more info email concordquarter@pym.org
Oct 13 10-noon Aging and Finances offered by the CQ Working Group on Aging Concerns at Goshen Meeting, 814 N. Chester Rd, West Chester. Guests from Intervention Associates, a subsidiary of Friends Life Care, providing care management and guardianship services. Registration requested for lunch.  
Oct 13 Noon-3pm Harvest Fair & Open House at Goshen Friends School, 814 N. Chester Rd, West Chester. Activities for toddlers through preschool. Have a tour, meet teachers and find out what makes Goshen Friends special. Registration requested: www.goshenfriends.org/register-for-an-open-house. Nov 1 6:30- 8:30pm Anne Ford, author and advocate for children with learning disabilities will speak at Delaware Valley Friends School, 19 E. Central Ave, Paoli. She will discuss her latest book: The Stigmatized Child: Helping Parents Overcome the Stigma Attached to Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Lack of Social Skills.
