Two Important Calendar Changes for April 9 & 16
Dear Friends,
There are two changes in calendar that I want to call to your attention; please review them carefully.
Because Meeting for Business falls on Easter Sunday, April 16, there was a sense among some that it would be better to make space for family time and traditions on this important holiday. There is one item, however, that we do need to discuss: review of logistics/details for hosting Concord Quarter & Western Quarter Meetings on April 23. So I am asking friends to gather this Sunday, April 9, at 9:30 a.m., in the Meeting House basement, to discuss this one agenda item. Once we finish this conversation, we can go upstairs to hear our friend and meeting member, Laurie Worth, share her spiritual journey.
The second change involves this Sunday's plan for a discussion of Peace & Social Concerns queries during and after our shared potluck lunch. At the suggestion of Jon Evans, a member of the committee, we will postpone the program portion of our lunch and use the time for fellowship. Please bring a dish to share and we will gather, as always, in the Meeting House basement, following Meeting for Worship.
See you on Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Meeting House basement.
Peace,
Joe
