This is not a political program; but a community-wide demonstration of solidarity in response to the growing number of hate crimes and anti-Semitic incidents across the country; particularly the most recent local cemetery desecration at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Northeast Philadelphia, and the numerous bomb threats that resulted in building evacuations at our local Jewish Community Centers and Jewish Day School.
